Mosaics Fine Art Festival: Celebrating 25 Years of Sharing Art With the Community

At the end of every summer, Main Street is filled with booths of local artists offering their work to the local community to shop and explore. From Sept. 13-15, the Mosaics Fine Art Festival will be celebrating its 25 year anniversary.

Where Art and Education Collide

In 1992 the Mosaics Art Festival Association was established as a nonprofit organization with a mission to educate people in the community of all ages how art can be used to enhance their lives while also giving artists a space to share their creativity.

All proceeds from the event will go toward efforts to educate and promote the visual and performing arts within the community.

Providing a Creative Space

The festival features artists from roughly 20 states each year with a diverse selection of mediums. These 90 artists were carefully selected to share their talents with the public and have the opportunity to win one of 10 $500 awards given by the festival’s judges. The event will also include the following activities during the 25th celebration:

  • The Children’s Village: Space where kids under the age of 14 can learn about art and discover their own skills.
  • The Art Shop for Kids: A shop where kids under the age of 14 can enter and pick one item of their choice from one of the participating artists for a nominal fee.
  • Live Entertainment: A variety of performers will be playing throughout the festival while attendees shop.
  • “Mentor Me” Exhibition: An exhibition at the Foundry Art Centre featuring artwork from students and teachers from over 20 schools around the area.

This event is free and open to the public. The festival will be held on Sept. 13 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sept. 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sept. 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For any additional information contact the festival at (314) 482.5476 or at
